The Penzion Dmz in Ostrava was fantastic. The place was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It offered great value for the price and had a delicious breakfast with plenty of options. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and private car parking was available. The location was convenient, with a fantastic local pub nearby.
Nothing everything was great.

The rooms were clean and quite spacious, with comfortable beds and a good-sized TV. the staff also appeared friendly and welcoming, ready to help us with whatever we needed. the location of the hotel was ideal, situated on a quiet street but nearby to a lovely bar and restaurant, which provided great food.
One of the major disappointments for us was the lack of air conditioning or even a fan in the room, making it intolerably hot at night, even with the windows open. This was made worse by the constant noise from outside, including the rumbling of trams and passing traffic.

Good breakfast with a variety of options and friendly staff. Convenient parking options and clean facilities. Great location with easy access to bars and pubs nearby.
Rooms were small, and the check-in policy was strict with no possibility of checking-in after 7 pm. This created undue stress during a business trip.

The location was really convenient, close to two tram stations that got me in no time to the city center and the European Figure Skating Championships venue. the bed was very comfortable and the room spacious with a great TV. the staff, despite language barriers, was always helpful and welcoming.
The lack of air conditioning in the room was a downside, especially during the summer months.
